Pink & Grey Dress

This dress was made by my late aunt. She's the one inspired me to learn how to crochet. She made plenty of dresses for my barbie and my sister's skipper. I still keep it until now.

First Clothes for First Barbie

This is one of clothes I made for my first barbie. Simple cut and hand sewing only. Not bad for a young girl :) I made this maybe when I was about 13 or 14 years old.

Brocade Gown

Yes, I finally give a shower and hair wash to my barbie. She looks better now. I also had a change to looked into my old box and found some old dresses. I'll try to write a few articles about it. The first one will be the dress that made by one of my relatives. At that time she stayed at my house because she's on treatment for her cancer. While stayed at home, she made a gown for my barbie. Made from left over family dress material from my aunt's wedding dress. This is one of my favorite dress at that time. It was hand sewing.

Washing Barbie's Hair

Today I was looking for my old barbie and I found out she need to take a shower and wash her hair. I had looked for how to wash her hair in youtube and I found some video that useful. I'll try to share a little bit of my knowledge.

Things you need before you wash your barbie: shampoo, conditioner, water, comb, water, soap, washcloth, cotton swab, towel and alcohol 70%.

To wash the barbie's body, you just need to wet the body and use soap to make it clean. You can use alcohol to remove spots in your barbie. Use your washcloth or cotton swab to remove the spot. After you finish, dry barbie with towel.

To wash her hair, just wet the hair with water and wash with shampoo. After the hair is clean, rinse shampoo with water. And then put some conditioner on barbie's hair. While the conditioner still on the hair, comb the hair to untangled the knot. Start to comb from the bottom of the hair and move to the scalp. After that rinse conditioner off. Dry out hair with towel and comb it again. Then let the hair dry.
